Gianna is an experienced and dedicated Yoga teacher who is passionate about sharing the mental, physical and spiritual benefits of yoga. Understanding that yoga is a lifetime journey, she is constantly updating her practice with advanced courses in various styles.
She has practiced yoga for over 19 years and has taught for over 8 years. She came to yoga in 1995 because of a car accident which left her in a neck brace and severe migraines. She attributes her healing to regular practice of yoga, after two months of yoga she threw away the neck brace and the debilitating migraine medicine.
Her classes are energizing and unique, focused on community building acknowledging the Divine with gratitude. Gianna teaches multiple levels and styles of yoga but focuses mainly on Hatha Vinyasa which encompasses traditional yoga poses in a flowing movement with the breath. The style includes stretching, twisting, flexing, inversions and balancing poses, with breath work; always beginning and ending with a relaxing meditation focused on bringing optimum health to practitioners.

From a recent client:
I would like to thank you for a life changing experience. My daughter treated me to a private yoga lesson with you on Sept. 7th down by the beach at the Amelia Island Plantation. It was my 60th birthday. That is the BEST birthday I have ever had. My daughter and I had both decided to start practicing yoga. Your lesson and kind words afterwards meant so much to both of us. You are a remarkable, amazing, inspiring and beautiful woman. I look forward to participating in some classes and workshops at Go Yoga when I visit Amelia Island. Thank you so much for making me realize that turning 60 is not the beginning of the end. For me, turning 60 is going to be the start of a new adventure.
