Emily Redman took her first yoga class over 10 years ago, and has practiced in the many places she has called home since then, from Yoga Tree in San Francisco, to Bikram in Missoula, to Laughing Lotus and Jivamukti in New York. She realized that the more she practiced yoga, the more grounded she felt in the rest of her life. She trained at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India in and in 2011 completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the summer of 2013. Emily finds that the challenges and successes she meets on her yoga mat have everything to teach her about living life off the mat. Her other loves are exploring in the outdoors, playing in the kitchen, and finding small ways to have an adventure every day
